To verify you paypal account perhaps I would like to know what country you chose as your registration. If it the US, then you will need to verify it with a US bank account or apply for a Paypal plus card.

Why do you want to verify it. Verification is only necessary if you are sending above limits of say $500. If it's a personal account, you can still use the account and send money online.

Paypal can be helpful to Nigerian online business but the main problem is that it excludes Nigeria and I don't know why we still want to get involved with them. There are better alternatives like Alertpay or Liberty reserve. Paypal is not a good business partner for Nigerian business

I think it is still possible to verify a paypal account from Nigeria, afterall, what you need is a US bank account which you can open from here. But the issue is with the starting deposit. You may need as much as $2000 to open a savings account with a bank in the US and what you need to do is to apply for it through a bank or agent in Nigeria or friend abroad
