In Nigerian, a tropical country where the average temperature is a bit high compared to countries like Britain or USA, there is hardly any snow but rather a heat wave most times of the year. With the epileptic power supply sector, it only makes a good market for the people who want to buy products that offer cooling services.Products like raw ice blocks are hot commodities such that in most cases, they are a scarce commodity. You can make money producing ice blocks if you know how and have the capital and resources to do so.The price of ice blocks in Nigeria sells for about N50 per kg and in most cases they are packaged in 2kg.Things you'll need to start this business
====================
- Ice block machine/freezers
- Storage
- Electricity (Generator+National grid)
- SpaceProcedure
=========
- Water is first filled in containers or nylon and placed in the freezers/machine
- It takes time to cool, about 1 to 2 days
- Frozen water/ice is then removed from the ice machines after it is ready but machine is not turned off
- Ice is then stored in storage place like a deep frezer for onward supply to the market
- New water is then added back to the freezer without having to defrost it* Defrosting your freezer/machine is not a good idea if you are into this business since you want fast ice. Defrosting should not be done unless you are doing monthly or periodic maintenance.You can then sell your ice to the market for about N50 per kg
