I know Chimamanda Adichie as a popular writer who has followed in the footsteps of the late Achebe in writing famous books such as a purple hibiscus and Half of a yellow sun.

However, I'm surprised at a recent article written by her that is criticizing the anti-gay bill passed by the Nigerian govt.

Why does she have to toe that line and offer support to gay marriage. Nigeria is not America and she should know that things like gay relationships are not that acceptable in Nigeria as they are in America. What she did can make her less popular in Nigeria.

No Way for Gay Marriage in Nigeria. I Wonder why Chimamda Adichie would criticize such a Law. Na 14 Years Imprisonment be the Charge.
