I just watched the latest X-men movie today titled Xmen origins. It featured our good old Wolverine and another guy that had the features of a bear. Already the movie should be showing at Silverbird cinemas since it just came out, but i watched it on dvd.
I was surprised that there was a clip in the movie that features them visiting Lagos, Nigeria in a covert operation in search of a precious stone. They came an Igbo community and the bear guy was told to torture an Igbo guy who was telling them Ama ham ebe osi - I don't know where the stone is from. They later killed the guy, wll i didn't like that section and besides Lagos was far more beautiful than the scenery they showed.
It was really nice and i guess it would be a real hit across the world. In the news, xmen origins is already grossing over $35 million at the box office in a single day opening, even in a recession. Although the year 2006 X-men had more than that($45 million), it's understandable
