Avatar - The movie

Before I watched this movie, I thought it was all about cartoons and 3D, but it's quite different.
Avatar, the movie, starts with a journey by humans(the army) to space in search of another world called Pandora. They were actually a lot of humas on that spaceship and they were being paid for this expedition.

They were a lot of assets used in the movie like the cast, the machines and the whole set up.
Centered around the main act called Jake who is crippled and nicknamed meals on wheels in on wheels and tells a story on his videolog and also works in a lab where they seem to be testing on some creatures or genetically designed being or avatars one of which Jake thinks looks like his late twin brother called Tommy(former PHD surgeon).

Avatars are long-eared creatures that are like 2 times taller than humans and can breathe both human air and Pandora air. They also have a long tail. They are a hybrid of humans and original Pandora beings called Na'vis one of which Jake's Avatar needed to be protected from.

Dr Grace didn't like the idea of working with Jake who knew little about the research. Actually the only reason Jake's there was because he was a genetic match for his late brother ,Tommy and he was being paid to be part of the programme. Grace made her feeling sknown to Parker Selfridge (Giovanni Ribisi), representative for the Resources Development Administration, an organization that oversees all military and other personnel on the colony. He also tells her that the main reason why ther were there was to get a mineral resource called Unobtanium which will help solve earth's energy problem, it sells for 20 million a kilo.

The Avatar program has to do with the researchers/team like Jake and Grace who have beings(avatars) created by them that go into the Pandora world since humans can't breathe in that world. Humans are unable to breathe Pandora's air, but the Avatar Program enables people to link with their own Avatar, a genetically-bred human-Navi hybrid. So through his Avatar body, Jake will be able to walk again.

One thing I like about Avatars is that they can bond with other animals like Pandora horses and big birds with their long hair and then control them
