The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board had introduced e-registration which means that all prospective students who wish to further their studies in Nigerian universities are welcome to do son by registering for the Ume on the internet. In the past, registraiong for JAMB had to do with purchasing the form from the JAMB office or Nigerian banks, filling them manually and then submitting them at the JAMB office. This was really a burden on JAMB and it increased over the years as the number of prospective university students increased and this also led to a lot of missing registration forms and mistakes that would have been prevented altogether if it had been in electronic form. Fortunately, with the newer technologies being introduced like the internet, regsitration for the JAMB exam had been made easier and faster as it reduced a lot of costs for students and made it more convenient. Now students can easily log into the JAMB/UME website by means of valid scratch cards currently sold at N4000 in banks like Afribank and Spring bank. With the scrathc card, the student can register for jamb with tow details which are the serial number and pin. This would give you access to a username and password which one may choose for himself.
To regsiter for JAMB/UME, students are meant to go the the official JAMB website.
