Is it time already? Our favourite reality DSTV show Big brother Africa is on again and this time, it is called Big Brother Africa 4 (IV) - The Revolution (BBA4). Entries are already being collected and prospective participants have already been advised to start making applications for the show which will being in September 2009. There are new adjustments that has been made to Big Brother which include a double prize of US $200,000, private shower hour and lots more.I got this from www.bigbrotherafrica.com:"Once again, in BIG BROTHER AFRICA: The Revolution (BBA4), would-be housemates from Angola, Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe are eligible to enter the series. This time round though, the search has been widened to include housemates from Mozambique, a dynamic and growing economy, and Ethiopia, which is home to the African Union.
To get the process started, M-Net has begun calling for entries for the new season. And, in line with its re-energized identity, the new BIG BROTHER AFRICA will include, for the first time, open castings sessions in the 14 participating countries.
Just take yourself, or a friend, or a family member that you think is perfect for the show, to a casting venue and get in line to see the selection team. Remember that castings will be held on a 'first come/first served' basis and to qualify for entry, you must be over the age of 21, be fluent in English, have a valid passport and be a citizen of any of the 14 participating countries.
Entrants who impress the selectors at the open castings will head into several follow-up selection rounds, before the final housemates are chosen. They'll then head into a revolutionized BIG BROTHER AFRICA house on September 6.
91 entertaining days later, after chasing the largest reality series prize that M-Net has ever offered and almost certainly the largest reality TV cash prize on offer in Africa, one winner will be chosen by voting audiences at the series Finale on December 6.
Once again, all the action will be screened on DStv channel 198, 24/7 so audiences won't miss a thing on the revitalized BIG BROTHER AFRICA.
For more information on BIG BROTHER AFRICA: The Revolution (BBA4), to find out where to enter or to reconnect with other fans, And check in regularly because in the run-up to September 6, M-Net will have several major announcements regarding their biggest, boldest Big Brother yet."

Maybe this time, we should try voting for a lady to win this one. Most guys have been misbehaving in the house in the past episodes but the ladies have always been modest with the exception of a few ones. But the guys have just been crazy and causing havoc. I would love to join this Big brother show for the money but I don't know if it will be able to be held in one house like a prisoner for many months. Anyway, we are all like prisoners on this earth and have been living in it for more than 20 years now, I guess staying in Biggy's house is doable by me.

@Seun, Mxit is one of the 3 methods which big brother allows you to vote for the show. The other 2 ways are by sending an sms or voting on the website.
To vote using MXit ,this is what you will do:
To vote using MXit: open the browser on your WAP-enabled mobile phone, and type in www.mxit.com/wap to download MXit for free. Then locate MXit on your phone in the applications or games section and register. Once in MXit, go to Tradepost -> Voting -> Big Brother Africa.
(Voting on MXit is free and you can vote up to 10 times on MXit per voting period.)

Big brother seems to be misleading people on its website about the voting procedures. Go to http://www.mnetafrica.com/bigbrother/Vote and you will see the statement - "
To vote on the website: Cast your vote by clicking on the Housemate who you want to WIN. "
But below this statement, it shows the faces of housemates who were already nominated for eviction. So in essence, those who want their favourite housemates to win may vote in error due to biggie's deceptive message, in the end their favourite housemate will be the ones to go out. So bad, not encouraging at all.

Kevin for the price. You guys should vote out Hannington and Yacob. The house will be more lively without them. What are you still waiting for? Keep voting use Mxit, SMS or the website to vote. You can vote up to 100 times a day using sms, 10 times using Mxit

It's getting funny. Yacob was asked in his diary session if he's made any other friends outside of his alliance and it appears that he hasn't - just being civil to everyone he says. He's in for a shocker when he will realise by Sunday that Itai - one of his trusted allies will not save him being the HOH for the week.

Four of the housemates are up for eviction today Kevin and Elizabeth on one side against Hannington and Yacob on the other. I hope Africans don't make the mistake of voting for teh person they want to stay rather than voting for the person they want to go out. I would have preferred Hannington to stay but his being tied up to Yacob is not helping his case. It would be a big surprise if they survive today's eviction cos Kevin and Elizabeth are loved by guys inside and outside the house

I guess she was expecting Nkenna to go out as a result of their plan. Eddie did a good job in kicking her out since she did same to Eddie's twin brother.
