Zain would need to bring down the tarriff for making calls. People need to be able to keep some change in their pockets after getting connected to Zain. It can be addictive

Just go to ichoose.gh.zain.com and enter your desired number then:
- tell them about yourself
- confirm the details
- print the reservation code that appears on the return page
You should note however that there are rules concerning having a reserved number:
Rules on Zain Numbers
The numbers belong to Zain and they are made available to customers for use of Airtel services. A customer owns the number for as long as he continues to use it on the Zain network.
To secure use of a particular number, a customer must register the number by providing an approved national ID (Passport, Driver's License, Health Insurance Card, Voter's ID Card, National ID Card)
A customer who pre-registers a number but does not convert it into use within 14 days will lose the number. The registration will be canceled and the number made available for another customer to use.
A customer who pre-registers a number needs to produce an ID card at the point of activation before the number can be used.
A customer who does not use an activated number for 90 days will have the number disabled.
Such a number is quarantined for another 90 days and then removed or churned from the network if no activity is carried out on it.
Zain reserves the right to re-assign the number to another customer after it has been discarded.
A customer whose number is removed or churned from the network can request for the same number only if it is available.
Customers who desire to keep their number must continue to use it.
