Well, if you are married to a Nigerian man whether you are a Nigerian lady or not, you would really know by now that keeping a good relationship with your man is not exactly the same as keeping a relationship with someone else especially in the western world, there is always the Nigerian factor.
Here are my few tips for having a good relationship with your husband:
Be submissive
You can break down the point into these various issues
- Don't tell him that you don't want more children
- Don't keep all your income to yourself
- Tell him when you are going out especially if you are going to stay out for long
- Don't start a business behind his back
- Don't ever tell him to cook, unless he chooses to
- Allow him to be the man
- Don't shout back when he is shouting
- Don't try to act smarter than him
- Show him that you are religious and he would love you for that
- Don't be lazy in doing your chores as a wife
- Learn how to cook if you can't. especially Nigerian meals
So from whichever part of the world that you are from and are married to a Nigerian husband, you don't have to be successful at your job in order to please your man, just follow the tips mentioned above.
Fell free to share tips here too if you have any
