One of the things I've heard in the radio is that Lagos state is doing in partnership with Phosguard Fumigant Ltd is helping people make money by killing rats. It's a good initiative but they have not yet specified how much money people can make doing it. I guess there must be some places in Lagos where there are a lot of rats. In my area, I hardly see rats as they are scarce. How much money will they pay and what will be the criteria for a rat? Will people get paid if it's a mouse and not a rat? Will the rats be calculated based on their weight or number? Lots of questions still need to be answered.

The big problem is how fast they will come and collect the rats after you call them. Nobody wants to kill and store rats while waiting for the government to come and pick it up. Waiting for LAWMA to come and collect waste it still a problem.

So Lagosians are now jobless that they have to start killing rats for chicken change? It's a disgusting business if you ask me and I guess only kids and jobless people who waste their time doing it.
