I visited a Shoprite store recently in Lagos Nigeria one morning and noticed a pretty long queue of people waiting in line. as I approached further to see what they were waiting for, I found out that it was just for bread as Shoprite has a bakery where they make bread, cakes and other stuff but it seems that most people were just waiting for hours just for for bread. Does it really make sense? Whats so special about the bread?

Its probably because the bread tastes sweet and is fresh

Nigerians just love eating bread. Im guessing with the rising inflation, the queues will get shorter as I forsee them selling bread at N500 per piece.
