Is blogging a profitable and real way of making money online? Yes it is. And there are already a lot of people taking to it as a profession. Gone are the days when people just blog for fun or just to post updates on their web experiences. Nowadays people are seeing blogging as a means of sharing information as well as keeping a community of fans. Bloggers across the world are making hundreds of thousands of dollars a year, earning what most top CEOs and CFOs earn from big companies. The thing about blogging is that it is the emerging way of the future whereby people may no longer have real offices but just an online presence that helps them to still satisfy people's needs. Bloggers can work from anywhere as long as there is internet access and the main purpose of a blog is to give insight or share information about a topic of interest.

One major way most bloggers or would I say start up bloggera make money easily is by selling ads using online advertising such as Google adsense, Infolinks, Adbrite and others.
Other ways more top notch blogger make money are by selling direct ads, doing prepaid reviews, promoting affiliate products and services as well as doing offline seminars. Bloggers are equally making money by creating and selling informational products such as ebooks which are closely related to whta their blog is all about.
A third way bloggers and web publishers are making money online is by accepting goodwill donations on their blogs by setting up payment gateways that allow readers to support their blogs

- One major way is by cheque from Google and other advertising companies. Other ways are by Paypal, Alertpay, Moneybookers, Google checkout and so on.

How to start blogging
One quick way to start blogging is by getting a free blog at blogger.com or Wordpress.org which are for free. But when you are thinking more professional, you may move your blog to you own permanent web account and domain name as this will help add more value and authority to your site while also potentially increasing your online income.

You can set up a blog for free or paid. It depends on which you want but getting it free will not let you gain the most benefits so it is better you pay for it. A blog website can cost you as low as $50 a year.
Blogging everyday is not necessary except you want to. Weekly, monthly or quarterly blogging is not a sin but professional bloggers blog every week at least

I at times blog with my phone. Blogging with your phone can be possible if your website has a mobile portal but to setup a blog at the first instance, you would need to make use of a pc.
