Adsense for domains is an easy way to make money online with Google adsense as all you have to do is buy a domain name and point it to Google servers. To be able to make money from this, you would need to already have a Google adsense account and set up adsense for domains from within your account. Then from your domain name control panel, you follow the setup instructions given to you by adsense in order to get paid for it.

How you really get paid?:
You get credited for every valid impression and click genuine and interested visitors make on your website. SO even for opening up your website, you stand the chance of making some bits of cash. You also make money from clicks users make when they visit that domain.

Adsense for domains is only allowed for type in traffic meaning that valid visitors as long as Google is concerned are those who just type in the address of your domain to get there and not those who visit from other websites or search results and so on.
Note: You are not allowed to drive artificial traffic to that monetized domain. You are not even allowed to tell people about that domain. You stand a chance of getting banned from the adsense programme for life if you break any of these rules.

How then do people find my domain when I am not allowed to promote it?
I say again, type in traffic is the only valid kind of traffic Google adsense allows you to make use of so you would need to learn how to make visitors come to your domain url without breaking any of the adsense policies.

Tips of making money from adsense for domains:
- Do a research for most highly searched keywords and urls
- Buy one of two keyworded domains eg. babyfood.com, nigerianmusic.com, moinmoin.com and so on
- People normally search for keywords in form of domain names especially when they don't know the exact web address
- Nigeria is still relatively untapped so there are many keywords, even local ones you can just register in order to park with adsense

Thanks for the tips. I didn't know that driving traffic to those domains with article writing was against the rules. I think I'm going to rethink my strategy now

There is more money from adsense for content than for domains. Domain adsense is like a gamble and you are not sure if you will make money from it or not

Although getting money from adsense for content is more reliable than from domains, it depends on how one specializes on either of them. Some people are good at speculating and buying profitable domains while some people are better at publishing content. Adsense for domains requires that you make the right or almost right decisions when investing in domains

I agree that it depends on how skilled you are on it. I have been making $1 a week from one domain while on 2 others I only make like $1 in two months. I may have to drop the ones not bringing in money soon $1 a week is good enough given that there are 52 weeks in a year and a domain costs only $10 a year
