They celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. It's a Christian celebration and also a public holiday in Nigeria

The rising of our Lord Jesus Christ from the dead after he was killed unjustly. Death could not hold him and he appeared to his disciples for many times after his resurrection. Easter is probable the most important feasts in Christianity.
