MTN Internet settings are required for your mobile phone to be able to access the internet at your convenience.
MTN offers internet services via GPRS, WAP, Edge and 3.5G, the last been the fastest. For you to be able to access the internet at a higher speed on your computer, you will need to have a mobile phone or device that is 3.5g capable i.e. a HSPDA device.GPRS and WAP is good enough if using your mobile phone to browse, but if you want to be able to browse on your internet, you will defnitely need a device that is 3.5g capable.Steps:The first thing required is to know the settings required by MTN in your country. If your are in Nigeria, the settings are as follows:Account Name = MTN GPRS
IP Address = 10.199.212.2
Port = 9201 (for WAP) or 8080 (for HTML)
Username = web
Password = web
Access Point Name (APN) =web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
Domain = mtn.com.ng
To be able to browse the internet with MTN, you will need to do the following:Get a 3.5g phone
Connect it to your computer through bluetooth or cable
Set up Nokia pc suite
Use pc suite and connect to the internet
Start up internet explorer and start browsing
