If you are interested in setting up Opera mini on your mobile phone, maybe you should follow this example which i used to set it up on my Nokia 6300 phone. What you need first of all is the software - operamini.
Download Opera mini from the website at http://www.opera.com/mini/download/.
- Select your phone model on the page there - in my case, it is a Nokia, it will take you to another page where you will select the model, in my case it is a 6300.
When you ge to the next page, it will ask you which language. It offers downloads in three major Nigerian languages - Igbo, Yoruba and Hausa or any other major world language. I could have chosen Igbo but i said let me try English -US first.
After your selection, you will see two text links which you need to download. Right click and save both of them cos they are .jad and .jar files which you will both need to install it to your phone.

After downloading, what next?
Now you already have the installation files on your Computer, what you need now is to start up Nokia Pc suite for your phone. Install it on your computer if you have not done it already.
When Nokia Pc suite boots upt, what you need to do next is to click on the Application installation link you see in the window and install it from the location you saved the downloaded. The interface is fast and you will have opera mini working on your phone immediately.
Next you need to do is to test the installation. You will have to go to your mobile phone and click on apps, there you will see the icon for Opera mini which you can click on and it boots up the Opera mini browser on your phone. In case you don't know where to start the program, it should be in the same location where your games are located.
Now you can launch Opera mini from that location. Once Opera mini opens, you can choose the web address of where you want to go to and also make bookmarks.
