I would like to know the manual settings for MTN MMS in South Africa. Please help

Configuring MTN MMS Settings for your phone manually:


  1. Go to "settings"

  2. Go to "general"

  3. Go to "network"

  4. Go to "cellular data network"

Under the MMS section enter the following data:


  1. APN : internet

  2. Username: mtnmms

  3. Password: mtnmms

  4. MMSC: http://mms.mtn.co.za/mms/wapenc

  5. MMS Proxy: 196.011.240.241:8080
