I have been having slight problems with my Toshiba Satellite laptop the A105-S4004. I wanted to fix a minor problem so i opened the case as i normally do but after closing it all up and powering it on, it no longer displays anything. The power comes up and it appears to be booting but no display, just a black screen. Pls help

I have had that problem before and it was after opening the back of my laptop. What i initially thought was that it was the fl inverter but actually it was a case of too much charge being in the system. I guess you did not remove the battery before losing out the other components. What you should do first is to remove the battery and then try to discharge any excess charges within the system by pressing and holding down the power button for about 10 seconds. Then put in the battery again and try to power up the laptop. This happened to me and I was thinking maybe I removed a video wire or something else and I had to work on it for more than a day until I searched the internet for more information. That solved my problem and I hope it solves yours

Thanks. It worked. They was nothing wrong with the laptop other than the excess charge maybe. So I just held down the power button as you said after unplugging the battery and it worked
