Glo GPRS Settings for Nokia phones

I'm giving this out to all glo (globacom) users with a nokia smart phone. It is not just enough to have a phone without experiencing all the superb functions. Tune up your nokia phone today for more of that spice by attaching the settings below:

1. Go to Menu >Services > Settings > Connection settings > Active service settings > Activate (Empty one)
2. Edit active service settings>Settings' name > Put Glo gprs
3. Then put the other following settings still under Active service settings:

Home page = http://wap.gloworld.com
Proxies = Enable
Primary proxy = 10.100.92.22
Secondary proxy = 8080
DATA Bearer = GPRS
Then go to Bearer settings.
4.Under Bearer settings;
GPRS access point = glogwap
Authentication type = normal
Log in type = Automatic
User name = wap
Password = wap

Exit

Now you can browse, if you see the gprs[G] sign on your nokia 6230 phone

Has your your-freedom client stopped working with MTN or Zain?

Over the weekend till now, I have been receiving calls and posts from those that could no longer connect to the internet through your-freedom.

The Telecoms Guys are at it again but this cannot stop free access to the Information Super-Highway.

You may contact +234.709.521.1175 or ADBNetworks@gmail.com for New Updates on MTN, Zain and Glo fresh IP Addresses and new codes.

These are their foreign IP Address and perfectly working in all their networked countries.

NB: Though we have assurance from MTN and Zain insiders that they can't do without those ones, those of you that have already got it should please stop spreading it, to avoid the unforeseen. It is for the advantage of us all.

Have you tried manual configuration. I think the best way you can set up gprs on your phone is through the manual configuration
