Have you always wanted to make money online in Nigeria? I mean making real dollars right here in Nigeria just working part time on the internet? Well, it is quite possible.
If you are not already making money online and are looking for a way to do so, well, Google adsense have come to the rescue.
What is Google adsense, really?
Well Google adsense is a very powerful means by which internet publishers are able to monetize their websites. If you are an internet publisher and you are providing content which is relevant to people in your domain or a particular region, Google adsense is the quickest, easiest and most profitable means of getting advertisers to your site.
Google adsense pays publishers monthly wherever they are in the world, Nigeria inclusive as long as their earnings have reached a minimum of $100 in a given month.
How do you really make money from Google adsense?
The fastest and most profitable way to make money from Google adsense in Nigeria is to set up a blog and blog everyday.
A blog is about writing blogs or articles everyday and publishing them on your website. If you want to start up a blog, you will need to buy your own domain name at around $10 and get a web host for around $50 a year or you could get a free blog from blogger.com and start blogging.
If you have a new blog and want to increase your earnings on Google adsense, then you can do what is called a blogathon - writing a new blog post every 30 minutes.
If you do a blogathon in a day, at the end of the day, you will have had like 48 blog posts.
There are already a lot of Nigerians who are making serious money online from Google adsense as they drive a lot of traffic that focuses on prime Nigerian keywords but you can equally catch up with them as making money from adsense is relative to the amount of traffic that you can draw to your site. The more you blog, the more money you can potentially make from adsense as long.
There are equally a huge number of Nigerian bloggers and webmasters who have not really crossed the $100 a month earning from Google adsense and are equally frustrated, but the truth is that you can make much more than that if you treat your blog or website as a real business by monetizing it.
Google adsense remains the best and most legit means of making money online in Nigeria but it requires patience as you will not likely make up to $50- $100 in your first month, however, your earnings will appreciate geometrically if you are able to increase these three things;

$ = V * CTR * CPC

Where $ = Earnings
V = Number of visitors
CTR = Click through rate
and CPC = Cost Per click

I have been making money with Google adsense from my blogspot account. I have not been making much from it other than about $20 per month. I was thinking suppose i have my own domain name will i make more than that?

There is a great chance you will be making more than that if you have your own domain name and web host. Those who host their blogs on blogspot will only receive a part of adsense earnings after blogspot has collected it's part. So it will do you well to have a domain and host of your own. With $20, you can pay and host a domain for a month
